The open plan space includes a king size bed, dining table, separate seating area and a kitchenette so that you can prepare your breakfast and light meals (kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, crockery, though please do note there is no hob or oven).
The ensuite shower room is stocked with Pure Lakes toiletries which are completely natural and handmade in the Lake District. Make a cup of coffee in one of the ceramic mugs handmade at a local pottery studio just down the road at Brougham Hall.
Weather permitting, relax with a G&T on your own terrace and flick through Wainwright's famous Walking Guide to decide which Lakeland fell to tackle next. The Garden Room in Penrith is the perfect base for exploring the Lake District and Eden Valley

The Garden Room is on a quiet residential road just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Penrith. Penrith is a small market town in the beautiful Eden Valley, the perfect base for exploring the Lake District.
By car you can reach Ullswater in 15 minutes and Keswick in 30 minutes. The Eden Valley is on your doorstep with the beautiful River Eden and many scenic walks.
Secure off-street parking or free street parking outside property.
Good transport links - Penrith train station is a 15 minute walk or short taxi journey. Penrith Bus Station is a 5 minute walk with good links to Ullswater, Keswick, Ambleside, Grasmere and many other areas.
